Jean-Paul Burtin named to Viasys Healthcare Technical Advisory Board

WILMINGTON, Mass., November, 2002 / Jean-Paul Burtin, Director of Marketing for Tecomet and Thermedics Polymer Products, has been named to the Viasys Healthcare Technical Advisory Board. “I am very proud to join my colleague Bob Lynch and be able to contribute to the achievement of the TAB,” said Jean-Paul Burtin. “Tecomet and Thermedics are very well represented on that board in both R&D and Marketing aspects,” commented Rick Horrigan, President of Tecomet and Thermedics Polymer Products ”.

In a recent important move, Viasys Healthcare decided to incorporate both Marketing and Sales members into the TAB, to make sure that the decisions made at the TAB level include the input of both Marketing and Sales managers.

Jean-Paul Burtin has been with Tecomet since April 2002 when he was hired to organize the marketing activities of the company with, at the beginning, a strong focus on the launching of Tecotex® texture worldwide.

Jean-Paul has many years of experience in the marketing and sales of medical devices, particularly in the orthopedic surgery and hemodialysis fields. Jean-Paul held many positions with the Rhone-Poulenc Group, Landos, Aesculap and Encore Orthopedics in France, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada and the United States.
