Unigraphics NX, one of the most sophisticated 3D CAD/CAM system in the industry, drives the entire engineering process at Tecomet–from tooling design and analysis, through accurate manufacturing simulation. This leading-edge technology allows our talented engineers to put their creativity to work to develop more efficient and effective methods for manufacturing unique components.

Unigraphics NX enables us to import customers’ designs or design our own solid models to accurately analyze the product for the forging process. Our engineers can then design tooling around the model to achieve a near net shape forging, thus reducing the need for complicated and long machining processes. All CNC programs, tooling and machining fixtures are developed from the base customer part model.

Comprehensive simulation and validation tools automatically check performance and manufacturability at every step. Fully integrated, synchronized management of all product data and process knowledge create a collaborative environment that allows us to quickly implement changes and share ideas with our customers. When a customer requests a design change and/or product improvement, our associatively driven forging and manufacturing processes allow for quick engineering process adjustments.
