Tecomet is a leading contract manufacturing, engineering and metal fabrication technology company. The Company specializes in net shape forging, precision machining, photochemical etching, surface texturing, vacuum brazing, laser and electron beam welding, and rapid prototyping. Tecomet is ISO13485, ISO9001, and AS9100 certified and has over 45 years of experience supplying precision engineered components and assemblies to the medical, aerospace/defense, and commercial/industrial markets. Due to continued growth the following positions are available at the Wilmington or Woburn facility:

Project/Manufacturing Engineer (Etch) – Woburn

Seeking a motivated, talented engineer to work in a fast paced, technical medical photochemical etching business. Individual should have a strong mechanical background with the ability to be innovative and creative in new product development and manufacturing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent & minimum 5 years’ experience in photochemical etching or related field. Proficient in AutoCad, SolidWorks or compatible CAD software, understanding of shop floor traveler generation and ERP systems. A background in 3-dimensional design or modeling helpful.

Quality Engineer - Wilmington

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & min 5 years working in the medical or aerospace industries. Ensure compliance to ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100 and FDA CFR820. Responsible for the development of part specific quality plans based on customer requirements in a manufacturing environment. Experience in geometric tolerances, ability to read blueprints and interpret to ANSI specifications. Must have a good understanding and ability to develop and document Risk Assessment, FMEA and Process Control Plans, CAPA activities. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills.

CNC Machinist (2nd shift – 4:30pm) - Wilmington

Minimum 5 years of experience with set up and operating CNC Milling machines. Ideal candidates will also have experience in setting up and operating CNC Mill/Turn &/or 5 Axis Milling equipment. Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to use various types of precision measuring equipment, and be familiar with all aspects of machine shop practices.

Laser Marker or Wire EDM Machine Operator - Wilmington

Machine operator that is experienced in setting up and operating either a Trumpf or Starmark laser marker or Fanuc Wire EDM. Must be familiar with all aspects of basic machine shop practices.
